Cold decends. Fire rises. Winter begins.
Winter blend this year is comprised of two excellent coffees from some of our favourite growing regions: Ethiopia and Brazil. Brazil Espigão comes to the table with a new anaerobic lot full of flavour with deep cherry, cocoa and blood orange. We met the Edu who produces this coffee at MICE this year, a lovely young man who is helping to push Brazillian coffee into the future. His coffees are bright, expressive and absolutely deserving of a spotlight in this years winter blend.
The second component of this coffee is another absolutely excellent coffee out of Ethiopia. A single farmer lot out of Yirgacheffe, which has been grown by Mr Mengenche Dersov. This lot been naturally processed, bringing tonnes of fresh berry fruit to the table, this years winter blend is going to be fruit forward and oh so delicious.
