We are welcoming the warmth in with extra vigour this year and needed a coffee that matched our energy. This iteration of Spring Blend is an absolute cracker.
We've brought in the big guns from an amazing farm in Honduras, with a naturally processed coffee called Entre Caminos. Entre Caminos is a bold, sweet, and fruity coffee that compliments the second component oh so well. Kenya Riara, a AA screen size microlot from the Kiambu region. The fruity nature of these coffees combine to create something unique to both of them - a sweet citrusy orange blossom, blackcurrant and stewed apple flavour profile. We developed a roast profile for these coffees designed for a refreshing and bright espresso while also producing a rich and fruity filter coffee.
The artwork for this blend pays tribute to several of Tasmania's native orchids, alpine Scoparia flowers, Lemon-scented Boronia, and the Macleay's Swallowtail butterfly and the Blotched blue butterfly. Illustration by our own Tilly Thorne.
