The COOPAC cooperative was founded in 2001 with just over 100 members, but now represents more than 8,000 smallholder families in Rwanda, across 50 washing stations. The cooperative has a focus on sustainability, both in farming and environmental practices, but also in supporting the wellbeing of its members through providing social services.
