Ichamama Washing Station is the largest in the Othaya Cooperative, with around 700 members from the Nyeri region contributing to the station. During dry milling, beans are sorted by machine based on size, with the smaller peaberry beans separated out. The volume of peaberry production is always very small, but they are well known for their vibrancy and intense flavour and sweetness.
