This coffee comes from the Konga Cooperative, which is one of the most successful Coffee cooperatives in Ethiopia, made up of 1500 small coffee farmers from the surrounding Yirgacheffe region.
The 'Supernatural processing' encompasses a variety of experimental coffee fermentation techniques. For this particular lot, the cherries are stacked into thick piles to increase temperature during fermentation. While fermentation is occuring, the cherries are turned every few hours to carefully control the level of fermentation achieved. This processing method produces heavily fruit driven coffee, with big body and boozy sweetness. This Konga Wete has an incredible and intoxicating tropical aroma when brewed, that will keep you coming back for more.
